Journey to Nowhere

Journey to Nowhere

  • Description

Today's card of the day is Journey to Nowhere, the latest in a long line of White enchantments that remove a target from being a direct threat.
Most similar to Oblivion Ring as it removes from play with the cost of many other options this is a very powerful card that will see quite a bit of play in any format.

For Constructed, Casual, and Multiplayer this is a cheaper Oblivion Ring that only works on creatures. Extremely useful and one of the best choices for anti-creature in White as it doesn't just prevent attacking or blocking, but also will stop any other effects. True removal like Path to Exile is generally better, but this is very much playable and may be better in certain decks.

In Limited this is a very early pick in Booster as affordable removal with little in set to recover the targeted creature. In Sealed this belongs in every deck using even a little White mana. This is White's verion of a Terror/Doom Blade and should be drafted just as early.
